Materials & Care

This Italian fabric is a blend of wool, nylon and cotton in a scaled-up Glen Plaid. Also known as the Glen Urquhart check, it originated in Scotland and combines small and large checks in a repeating design. At this scale, the pattern opens up to read almost like a windowpane. The feel is flat and slightly felted, with an old-school sensibility. Wool provides natural insulation and breathability, nylon adds durability and shape retention, and cotton adds a bit of softness and structure.
